Why choose the genuine Canon GI-53 ink bottle
Genuine Canon ink bottle for refillable tank printers. Ink formulated for the print head of these models: faithful colors, fast drying, no clogged nozzles. The spout is keyed by color and the flow stops by itself when the tank is full, with no mess.
The other colors of the series
The 4673C001 comes in the following colors, ordered separately as each one wears out: 4699C001 (black), 4708C001 (gray), 4681C001 (magenta), 4717C001 (red), 4690C001 (yellow). On a color printer each color runs out at its own pace; replace only the empty one.

Ink and consumption
60 ml of genuine Canon ink; consumption depends on media, coverage and the selected quality mode.
Installation
Mess-free filling: open the tank cover, remove the cap of the tank to fill, remove the bottle cap, place the bottle nozzle down on the inlet (keyed by color) and wait until it empties; the flow stops by itself when the tank is full. Close the cap and the cover. Refill as soon as the level drops below the minimum mark.
Use and tips
Order the 4673C001 at the "Low" alert: the printer keeps printing until the replace message, but a bottle in reserve avoids stopping at the wrong moment.
Keep the printer plugged in and on: it maintains its nozzles and uses very little power in standby. Store bottles in their packaging away from heat and install them before the printed date.
