Why choose the genuine Brother BT-D180CLVAL ink pack
The BT-D180CLVAL is the pack of the three color bottles in the BT-D180 range. Genuine Brother ink, formulated for the print head of these models: faithful colors, fast drying, no clogged nozzles and no "bottle not recognized" message.
3-color pack or separate bottles?
The BT-D180CLVAL pack contains the three standard bottles (5,000 pages each) at a lower price than the bottles bought separately. It suits printers whose colors run out at about the same time. Black is not included: BT-D180BK (7,500 pages).

Page yield
5,000 pages per color according to ISO/IEC 24711 (5% coverage per color, letter-type text). Photos and solid color areas use far more; part of the ink is used for automatic print head cleaning. The cost per page shown next to the price is calculated from the current price and this yield, excluding paper.
Installation and maintenance
Mess-free filling: open the tank cover, remove the cap of the tank to fill, remove the bottle cap, place the bottle nozzle down on the inlet (keyed by color) and wait until it empties; the flow stops by itself when the tank is full. Close the cap and the cover. Refill as soon as the tank level drops below the minimum mark; the printer also shows an alert. A lightly used printer stays in good condition if it is left plugged in and prints a color page every two weeks. Empty bottles are recycled with plastics.
Use and tips
The BT-D180CLVAL bottle suits intensive or shared use: 5,000 pages per color, i.e. over 4 years at 100 pages per month and about a year at 300 pages per month.
Refill the tank as soon as the level drops below the minimum mark, without waiting for it to run dry: the head must stay primed. Keep the printer plugged in and print a color page every two weeks. Store bottles upright and capped, away from heat and sunlight; an opened bottle keeps until the next refill. Genuine ink protects the print head and the Brother warranty.
