Installation
With printing stopped, open the cover, remove the used cassette, tighten the new ribbon with the knob, insert the cassette and feed the ribbon between the head and the guide, then tighten again. Clean hands: the ribbon is inked.
Use and tips
For tills, logbooks and multipart forms (invoices, delivery notes) on dot matrix printers: the ribbon prints until the ink runs out, with no counter; keep a cassette in reserve.
Store cassettes in their packaging away from heat: the ribbon does not dry out while packed. Faint printing on one side only means a slack ribbon; tighten it with the knob.
