The DS-940DWe is the 2026 version of the DS-940DW: same scanning characteristics, USB 3.2 Gen 1 port in USB-C format and USB-C cable supplied; availability announced by Brother France for September 2026.
The Brother DS-940DWe mobile scanner is made for travel, home office and small spaces: 15 pages per minute.
Use cases: digitizing invoices and mail, customer or patient files, archiving, expense receipts, forms. Single-pass duplex handles mixed stacks without prior sorting. Plastic cards (ID, health, loyalty) accepted. Long documents up to 182.9 cm. Scans directly to email, network folder, USB, cloud or business software. The roller kits and separation pads listed above are replaced according to the page counter.
