Why choose the genuine Brother TZe-FX661 flexible id tape
Genuine Brother TZe-FX flexible ID tape: the same durable laminate as the TZe range on a supple backing that wraps around cables, wires and curved surfaces without lifting. Designed for cable identification (wrap or flag).
Which width, which color?
The TZe-FX661 tape comes in 6 widths for this color combination: TZe-FX611 (6 mm), TZe-FX621 (9 mm), TZe-FX631 (12 mm), TZe-FX641 (18 mm), TZe-FX651 (24 mm), TZe-FX661 (36 mm). Choose the width for the legibility you need and the maximum tape width your label maker accepts (6 to 36 mm depending on the model). In 36 mm, the same range also comes in black on white (TZe-FX261). Same color and width in other versions: laminated tape (TZe-661), self-laminating tape (TZe-SL661).

Length and yield
8 m of tape, i.e. about 100 labels of 8 cm; label makers add a margin before and after the text (adjustable on most models). The label maker does not track the remaining length: keep a spare cassette.
Use
Open the label maker compartment, take up any slack in the ink ribbon, insert the cassette until it clicks and close; feed the tape once for the first cut. Apply the label to a clean, dry surface and smooth it down; the split backing of most TZe tapes makes the liner easy to remove. Store cassettes away from heat and direct light.
Use and tips
The TZe-FX661 (36 mm) suits panels, large labels and signage readable from a distance. One 8 m cassette yields about 133 labels of 6 cm; the actual number depends on margins and text length.
Store cassettes in their packaging, away from heat and sunlight; they do not dry out and keep for several years. For a durable label, apply it to a clean, dry, grease-free surface and smooth it down; wait 24 h before exposure to water or abrasion. The split backing of laminated TZe tapes makes the liner easy to remove. Genuine cassettes ensure a clean cut and format recognition by the label maker.
