Why choose the genuine HP 659A toner cartridge
The W2011A is the standard cyan cartridge of the HP 659 series. All-in-one cartridge: toner, imaging drum and developer are replaced together, so print quality is like new at every change, with no separate drum to replace. Genuine HP toner with JetIntelligence: smart level tracking, anti-fraud technology and maximized yield. Colors stay consistent from one cartridge to the next.
659A or 659X: which capacity?
The W2011A (13,000 pages) suits occasional or moderate use. From about a hundred pages a month, the W2011X (29,000 pages) costs less per page and is replaced less often; both fit the same printers.

Page yield
13,000 pages per ISO/IEC 19798 (5% coverage per color, letter-type documents). Graphics or photo-heavy pages reduce the actual yield. The cost per page shown next to the price is calculated from the current price and this yield.
Installation and maintenance
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, pull the protective tab if present, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge and resets the counter. Used HP cartridges are returned free of charge through HP Planet Partners.
Use and tips
The W2011A suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (13,000 pages) lasts over 3 years at 300 pages per month and about a year at 1,000 pages per month. Beyond that, the W2011X (29,000 pages) costs less per page.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until "Very low" then "Replace". The driver's EconoMode extends life for drafts. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's HP warranty.
