Why choose the genuine HP 207A toner cartridge
The W2213A is the standard magenta cartridge of the HP 207 series. All-in-one cartridge: toner, imaging drum and developer are replaced together, so print quality is like new at every change, with no separate drum to replace. 207A or 207X: which capacity?
The W2213A (1,250 pages) suits occasional or moderate use. From about a hundred pages a month, the W2213X (1,350 pages) costs less per page and is replaced less often; both fit the same printers.

Page yield
1,250 pages per ISO/IEC 19798 (5% coverage per color, letter-type documents). Graphics or photo-heavy pages reduce the actual yield. The cost per page shown next to the price is calculated from the current price and this yield.
Installation and maintenance
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, pull the protective tab if present, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge and resets the counter. Used HP cartridges are returned free of charge through HP Planet Partners.
Use and tips
The W2213A suits a lightly used printer (letters, a few documents a week): the cartridge (1,250 pages) lasts about 4 months at 300 pages per month and about 1 months at 1,000 pages per month. Beyond that, the W2213X (1,350 pages) costs less per page.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until "Very low" then "Replace". The driver's EconoMode extends life for drafts. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's HP warranty.
