Genuine Brother TZe-FX flexible ID tape: the same durable laminate as the TZe range on a supple backing that wraps around cables, wires and curved surfaces without lifting. Designed for cable identification (wrap or flag).
Which width, which color?
The TZe-FX611 tape comes in 6 widths for this color combination: TZe-FX611 (6 mm), TZe-FX621 (9 mm), TZe-FX631 (12 mm), TZe-FX641 (18 mm), TZe-FX651 (24 mm), TZe-FX661 (36 mm). Choose the width for the legibility you need and the maximum tape width your label maker accepts (6 to 36 mm depending on the model). In 6 mm, the same range also comes in black on white (TZe-FX211). Same color and width in other versions: laminated tape (TZe-611).

Length and yield
8 m of tape, i.e. about 100 labels of 8 cm; label makers add a margin before and after the text (adjustable on most models). The label maker does not track the remaining length: keep a spare cassette.
Use
Open the label maker compartment, take up any slack in the ink ribbon, insert the cassette until it clicks and close; feed the tape once for the first cut. Apply the label to a clean, dry surface and smooth it down; the split backing of most TZe tapes makes the liner easy to remove. Store cassettes away from heat and direct light.
Use and tips
The TZe-FX611 (6 mm) suits cables, small items and keyboard keys. One 8 m cassette yields about 133 labels of 6 cm; the actual number depends on margins and text length.
Store cassettes in their packaging, away from heat and sunlight; they do not dry out and keep for several years. For a durable label, apply it to a clean, dry, grease-free surface and smooth it down; wait 24 h before exposure to water or abrasion. The split backing of laminated TZe tapes makes the liner easy to remove. Genuine cassettes ensure a clean cut and format recognition by the label maker.
